Four Days Off!

Oh how much do you love the eve of a four-day weekend! There's nothing better than having the excitement and anticipation of days off ahead of you.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to take Bo and Violet to daycare/preschool and then head to a coffee shop for the morning to get a big project finished. I can't wait! I love working at coffee shops. If I'm finished by lunch, I'll probably grab a quick bite and then head home to work around the house. The kids and I will be gone all Saturday so it'd be nice to get a few loads of laundry finished and maybe even work on the basement some more. No plans for us on Sunday except the weekly housecleaning day and laundry and hopefully some organizing/cleaning out. And Monday is a holiday for my company and Mazy is off school, and it's Shawn's birthday so maybe Mazy and I will head to Nevada to take Shawn out for lunch. And that will be my break.

Now on to today's activities. It was Bo's parents' lunch at preschool. It was really fun. His class sang us three songs, and then each family laid out their beach towel on the floor. Lunch was a buffet set up in the hallway outside their classroom and then we all ate picnic-style. Lunch was good -- turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and rolls with cheesecake and strawberries for dessert. It was really fun. And fun to see Bo's interactions with all his friends.

Beginning of the performance -- Bo in a circle of girls.

See him pointing! This was he first song and while he wasn't enjoying himself, he was doing a good job.

By the final song, he was not so enthusiastic. And wasn't even lip-syncing at that point. He wasn't crying or scared, just completely unhappy about being on stage.

So that's all for this Thursday. Have a great Friday!
