Wickedly Wonderful Night

How can you not love a night that begins with shrimp cocktail, caesar salad, moulard duck confit over roasted veggies and raspberry sorbet for dessert? Oh what a feast we had at Django last night! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mom!!!

Following a spectacular dinner was an equally delicious and exciting production of Broadway's Wicked -- a very interesting adaptation of The Wizard of Oz. It's such a great musical! If you have the opportunity to go, definitely do it!

And then today was an at-home day with Bo. He still had his fever when he woke up this morning so I kept him home another day. Depending on how he feels tomorrow morning, I may do it again. This cold has sapped his appetite. He drinks steadily, but he doesn't eat much -- fruit, toast and bacon. :)  Not even sickness can keep Bo from eating his favorite cut of pork.

It is time to pick up a few things and go read for awhile. Shawn is watching The Pack trounce the Vikings. He is in a very good mood. Oh, another fun thing I did today was finish ordering most of the boys Christmas presents. We think long and hard on the perfect gifts for those two and I think we've made some excellent choices this year.

Have a great day!
