We're doing it!! Sunday morning was devoted to yardwork, yesterday after work and dinner we spent 45 minutes in the yard, and we're going to keep it up every night this week! Our goal is to mulch the crap out of the yard so we don't have to worry about weeds!
We're also doing a fairly extensive landscaping project in the backyard -- creating a playground... With vegetable gardens on one side. It should be great. We just need to find a way to get a ton of mulch to our house. We'd prefer not to buy 100 bags... but if that's what it comes down to, then that's what we'll do. We just get overrun with weeds by August. It looks terrible and makes me not enjoy being in the yard. So I am very hopeful that this new plan will solve some of those problems for us!
