Now I'm Ready for Some Football!

Heading home early tonight to get the boys and drive to Nevada for the first football game of the season -- nephew Kael's 3rd grade pee-wee flag football game! I can't wait!! Kael's mom and that side of his family moved back to Iowa this summer so it's the first time we've had a chance to watch him in a sporting event.

The weather is gorgeous -- low 70s, sunny, breezy, perfect for a football game! (Especially one that is sure to last an hour or less!)

We're meeting Shawn and his mom, and maybe my mom and brother Troy and nephew Maddox at Starbuck's in Nevada for a quick supper. Then we'll go cheer on Kael! The boys are very excited to be going. I hope they both had good days today at school/daycare today.

In other news, Bo's daycare has a new pet -- a tiny little pot-bellied pig! She is the cutest thing I've seen in a long time. She was wearing a pink tutu yesterday and a rock-n-roll t-shirt. Bo did not know her name. But he did know that he was NOT allowed to "growl" at the pig. He seemed a little scared of her. Which I found hilarious as she is about the size of a kitten! This coming from the boy who likes to climb fences for a better view of Grandpa's cows and pigs...

Enjoy this beautiful weather!
