Vacation Photos!

As promised, here's a quick recap of our KC vacation last week. Again, thank you Heidi and Steve for hosting us again!

 Cool guy Bo picking blueberries.

Mazy, Bo and Theron among the blueberry bushes. The boys and I picked 4.6 pounds and Heidi and Theron picked over 6 pounds!

Swimming at the hotel pool. It was COLD!

My beautiful homemade blueberry/lemon pie! The crust had lemon juice and lemon rind in it -- very good!

Bo really enjoyed the blueberry pie and the blueberry cobbler!

One of the most fun activities of the vacation -- catching fireflies in Heidi's backyard. I loved watching the kids chase fireflies and stick them in Theron's Gatorade bottle! Catching fireflies was always one of my favorite parts about summer nights!

I captured the very moment Bo woke up on his birthday and discovered his bed full of presents!

This was the T-Rex Cafe where we took Bo for his birthday lunch. He was kind of scared by the dinos for the first 15 minutes, but he eventually "tolerated" them. I won't go so far as to say he loved them... But it was still a good time.

Bo's birthday party Friday night at Heidi's house -- Kael, Mazy and Theron were happy to model the party hats. Notice the unique fashion statement of each child... And that's sweet Hudson in the background!

Mazy modeling a WWI helmet at the World War I Museum in downtown KC. It was a really cool museum and one we will likely visit again.

Mazy and the missile. (also at the WWI Museum)

Good-looking Shawn at the WWI Museum. We also went up that big tower you see behind him -- it's about 220-feet high, I think.
