- Shoe shopping for new sandals for the boys (not really so much fun, as a necessary...)
- Blueberry picking at The Berry Farm -- so much fun! It was a beautiful day and the kids had so much fun picking blueberries, eating blueberries, riding the blueberry train and then playing on the big bales of hay. Bo had a "Bandy" moment where he fell between two bales of hay and couldn't get out. It was hilarious. I really wanted to take a picture of him, but I rescued him instead.
- Bed jumping at the hotel -- while Bo napped, Mazy helped me check into the hotel and was kind enough to try out the beds by jumping them on them over and over and over again... Rest assured, they are nice, firm, springy beds.
- Swimming at the community pool -- at 6 we took the kids over to pool for a couple of hours of swimming before a late supper. It's pretty cool out, so I opted to stay out of the pool and build sand castles with Bo instead.
- Grillout at Heidi and Steve -- hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and fruit - yum! After supper, the kids caught fireflies in the backyard until about 9, then back to the hotel for a good night's sleep.
And tomorrow is Bo's 3rd birthday! We have reservations at the T-Rex Cafe at 11 a.m. and we'd love to take him to the movie Cars 2 -- it will be his first movie theater experience and he loves the Cars movie characters.
Well, it's time to start the Blueberry Buckle. Today's weather is absolutely fabulous -- 80 and blue skies. Have a great day!
Sounds like a wonderful time all of you are having - envious! We have been having blueberries galore...love them. Dave has a lot of bushes at the farm - we have frozen many to enjoy all year.
