Before ... And After Photos!

After what feels like days and days and days.... I am finally finished planting the garden! Still need to put down some mulch behind the garage, but boy oh boy, are we making progress! Look, I have proof:

Wooden fence near driveway. "Before" photo

"After" photo! Now we have tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and sweet potatoes planted here, along with some daylilies I transplanted.

"Before" photo of the backyard -- weed central!

"After" photo with the new mulch playground

Shawn and Mazy constructing the playset

 Hooray! The playset is ready!

 Trying out the new slide

Transplanted daylilies near the house -- note the new plywood window cover, which replaces the old cardboard window cover! Hey, it's progress! Once I paint it white you'll never know it's covering a broken basement window!

This planter will be moved back near the new playground area. It has spinach on one side, basil and stevia growing on the other.

Pots of marigolds, petunias and some other flowers.

Zinnia patch I just planted tonight near the "patio" section of the new playground.

The weed patch behind the garage is now Bo's pumpkin patch and Mazy's watermelon patch. (Also planted tonight.)

The storm clouds that I'm hoping will turn into a nice, long soaking rain tonight to water all my new plants!
