Disco Saturday Night

We just returned from Nevada. We listened to disco dance hits all the way home. Who know Mazy and Bo would love "Kung Foo Fighting" so much? Although I have to say, I can see the appeal of disco music. It's fun. It makes you want to move. It's easy to singalong to. I think we have found a new favorite CD for the van.

Sewing today went really well. I half about a third of niece Irelyn's quilt finished. It looks fabulous so far!! Too bad her little sister's quilt doesn't look as good... But it does look better with the owl on it. I'll get some pics up soon and you can be the judges.

In other news:
  • Shawn and Bo did not find much at the flea market today. They came home with two dinosaurs for Bo and a Star Wars Lego mini figure for Mazy.
  • Mazy is farsighted. But that is a good thing. His eye exam today showed he has 20/20 vision and his farsightedness should correct itself in the next year. Apparently all children are farsighted but by the time they are 7, their eyes get rounder or get flatter or something and that fixes the problem. I thought that was interesting.
  • I sewed all afternoon with Shawn's mom. We had a lot of fun. They made us an awesome lunch and then we ordered George's Pizza for supper. Yum!
And that's about all the news from Arthur Avenue. It's cold out! Only 5 degrees right now! Enjoy your weekends!
